Community Science- Elementary

The Vector Inspector Program is an NGSS-aligned program that gets students out in their backyards to find and eliminate mosquito sources. Students will learn about mosquito source reduction, bite prevention, and much more.

  • Runs from August to November based on Cohorts

  • Grades K - 6

  • Sign ups are open! Please allow for 8 weeks to obtain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) if required by your school district.

Community Science- Middle School

Operation Mosquito G.R.I.D. is an NGSS-aligned program that gets middle school students to conduct Aedes mosquito surveillance around their homes. Students eliminate mosquito sources and submit two types of data to our District. This project embodies the real application of public health science in “the field.”

  • Runs from August to October based on Cohorts

  • Grades 6 - 8

  • Sign ups are open! Please allow for 8 weeks to obtain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) if required by your school district.

Little Champions

Little Champions is EcoHealth’s preschool program that is aligned with Kindergarten science state standards to help prepare young learners for bite-free habits and healthy environments.

  • Perfect for ages 3 - 6

  • Includes interactive activities and an engaging presentation
